  • NIHR HS&DR - 13/54 Researcher-led workstream
    The researcher-led workstream focuses on research into the quality, appropriateness, effectiveness, equity and patient experience of health services. For this call, HS&DR are particularly interested in receiving proposals assessing very rare diseases.

  • AERC: Small Grants
    Priority will be given to evidence based projects, pilot research studies or demonstration projects with a strong evaluation component. The main aims of the council are to increase the capacity of individuals and organisations to deal with alcohol issues and also to develop the evidence base relating to alcohol issues. The overall aim is to make a difference.  

  • Diabetes UK: Small Grant Scheme
    The Small grant scheme was established by Diabetes UK to enable researchers to undertake small research projects or pilot studies. It is not intended to be used for ‘Top-up’ funds and applicants should remember when applying that the entire research budget comes from donations from supporters and members. If funds for small projects can be found within the applicant’s institution, then this support should be sought. 

  • Royal College of Nursing: HSA Charitable Trust Health Care Assistant Awards
    For Health Care Assistants working towards S/NVQs at levels 2, 3 or 4. Awards of up to £250 are available for funding study days, short courses, or awarding body registration fees.
